Summer Camp 2012

Camp camp camp!

We are SO excited to take kids to Creekside this summer. Unfortunately, we don't have as many spots as we have kids wanting to go. If you are interested in going to camp your deposit needs to be in by THIS SUNDAY, so we can assure you a spot for July 7th- July 12th.

The check can be made out to Young Life, and you can put your child's name on the bottom if you wish! It only needs to be $100 and is just a DEPOSIT for your child to go to camp. The full price will be $450.

I will be sending out camp forms and driving information next month.

The fundraisers we will be having so far are:
Gooneybird Pasta Fundraiser (selling tickets for a pasta night at the Gooneybird, envelopes full of tickets will be handed out this Sunday at club)
Car Washes
Anything else you wish, let me know!

Where are we going?

Goodness winter camp was amazing! What a great time with kids developing relationships, great program that broke down walls with kids and actually allowed them to act like middle schoolers. All of our kids left that week saying, "I had never heard anyone talk about Jesus like that before." That is all we can ask for these amazing middle schoolers. They need to have the freedom to act absolutely crazy like kids their age should be at a time when they are pushed by their peers to "grow up" and start caring more about what people think about them. Our goal in Wyldlife is to break down this idea, and have Wyldlife be a crazy place where we break kids out of this stereotype, and allow them to enjoy what God has provided for them!

Easter Club was a good old time last Sunday. Kids are running all over the place in search of Easter Eggs and even got to play a good old egg toss with water balloons. Props to the girls for actually playing the egg blowing game!
* We are looking for houses to have club at so that we don't always destroy the Leach's house :) If you are interested please let me know!

Now, we will NOT have club next week. Have an AMAZING Easter. 4/8
Kidnap Club, we will be "kidnapping" with parent's permission, kids to go to club the following week. If you have ideas and parents phone numbers for possible kids that could go to club, please let us know. - 4/15
